Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-09-17

These terms govern the use of QR Boost (qrboost.com), a service by Diego Manuel Béjar Santiago (Wandary). By creating an account, you accept them.

1. The service

QR Boost lets you create dynamic QR codes, customise their design, download them, change their destination, set redirect rules (by device, country, language or schedule) and see anonymous scan stats. The service is free.

2. Your account

  • You need an account to create and manage QR codes. We only ask for your email and name.
  • You must be at least 14 years old.
  • You're responsible for your account's activity and for keeping access to your email.
  • You can close your account whenever you like from My account (see section 6).

3. Our commitment to your QR codes

  • Your QR codes never expire and have no scan limits, except for any end date you set.
  • We don't show ads or interstitial pages before the destination (contact, Wi-Fi, email, SMS and location QR codes open our own page with that information).
  • We do what's reasonable to keep the service always available, but we can't guarantee there will be no interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures or causes beyond our control.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use QR Boost to:

  • Impersonate people or organisations, or obtain credentials or bank details by deception (phishing or “quishing”).
  • Distribute malware, scams, spam or illegal content.
  • Infringe third-party rights (intellectual property, image, privacy).
  • Content that incites hatred or violence or exploits minors.
  • Try to damage, overload or access the service without permission.

If we detect or are told about use that breaks these rules, we may disable the affected QR code or the account, even without notice where there's a risk to others. You can report a QR code by writing to qrboost@wandary.com.

5. Your content

  • You're responsible for the destinations, data, texts and logos you add to your QR codes, and for having the right to use them.
  • You allow us to store, process and display them only to provide the service.
  • The QR codes you download are yours to use wherever you want.

6. Closing your account

  • To close your account we'll ask you to confirm with a code sent to your email.
  • When you close your account you lose control of all your QR codes, and it can't be undone: we delete your personal data and would have no way of knowing which codes were yours.
  • Your QR codes are not deleted: they keep working and redirecting to their last destination (so nothing printed breaks), but nobody will be able to manage them. If you want them to stop working, delete them from My QR codes before closing your account. We reserve the right to disable them if their destination comes to breach these terms.

7. Intellectual property

QR Boost, its brand, design and software belong to its owner. “QR Code” is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.

8. Liability

We provide the service with the utmost care but, to the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from its use or unavailability, nor for the content of destinations set by users. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer law.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll ask you to accept the new version the next time you log in. Your QR codes keep working in the meantime.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and unless consumer law provides otherwise, the courts of the user's place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
